The International Support Fashion Foundation aims to give persons from relatively poor countries, who already are familiar with the use of needle and thread, the opportunity in the Netherlands by introducing them to Haute-Cauture, and offering them a short course by a fashion designer.

This will enable them to put their newly acquired skills into practice when they return to their own country, and empower them to teach other people to also make a living for themselves.

Addy van den Krommenacker has offered to support the International Support Fashion Foundation by way of giving 9 ladies from South Africa the opportunity to get a taste of the ways and means of the creation of a part of his Haute-Cauture collection.

During April next year these nine ladies will spend an entire week in Addy van Krommenacker’s workshop, where they will be exposed to the most exquisite and superior quality materials and fabrics, and gain specialised in-depth knowledge of the business in order to successfully pass this on to their countrymen.
